The 2008 edition of this event will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Doffer’s Dining Room & Lounge, 725 Arlington Park Place in Kingston, Ontario.
All proceeds from this event will go to support the
Children's Oncology Center at Kingston General Hospital.
The event is open to anyone that would like to enter a team. The entry cost is $60.00 per team, with a maximum of 6 members to a team. This year we expect to have between 35 and 40 teams entering the competition. Note: The maximum number of teams that we can accommodate is 40.
The “Challenge” consists of 10 rounds of questions, each round having 10 questions. The questions will be general in nature and will be loosely grouped into 10 categories, each round being a different category. Our announcer will ask the questions and the teams each decide upon their answer, quietly we hope, and record it on their answer sheet. At the end of each round, our volunteers will collect the answer sheets so that they can be scored. At the end of the second round of questions, we will announce the answers and the winning team for the first round, then on like that through the evening.
When the winning team is announced for a round, that team will be given prizes for winning that round (one item per team member). At the end of the evening there will be trophies awarded to the teams that place 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall.
Event Starts At 7:00 p.m., Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Teams must pre-register.
